Event Manager of Fluid Bar and Club in Farringdon, London. My goal was to enhance the venue's visibility, attract new promoters, and create memorable experiences for patrons through strategic marketing initiatives. Fluid was a split level venue with a corner position at the end of Charterhouse Street, Farringdon. The ground floor had the main cocktail bar and dining area, complete with comfortable, leather lounge seating, classic arcade games machines and anime on the big screens. In the basement was another bar, dance floor and huge sound and lighting rigs for those late night dancers, a perfect space for promoted club nights, private functions, corporate drinks or social meet ups.
Actions Taken:
Venue Diary Management: Managed the venue diary for five nights a week, coordinating DJ nights and entertainment events to ensure a vibrant and diverse program.
Promoter and Venue Hire Acquisition: Secured new music event promoters and facilitated venue hire and reservations, expanding the venue's network and revenue streams.
Online Promotions and Social Networking: Executed online promotional campaigns and managed social networking channels to increase brand awareness and engage with the target audience.
Music-Based Business Development: Spearheaded music-based business development initiatives to cultivate partnerships and opportunities within the music industry, enhancing the venue's reputation as a music destination.
Staff Management and Training: Managed and trained a team of five staff members, including bartenders and kitchen staff, to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
